Understanding the Basics of the Assessment Settings in Buzz - Part I

Date: November 16, 2021
Time: 4:00–5:00pm
Facilitator(s): Sue Dean, Wisconsin Virtual School (WVS) Math Teacher

Whether you are reviewing an existing assessment or assignment and its setting in Buzz and/or you want to create a assessment or assignment do you wonder what all of those options mean and are for? In this session we will explore some of the basic settings you will want to be aware of and understand why certain settings should be left alone and/or set a certain way. The WEN Core Skills - Teacher Series 1 Handout provides a link to a recording and accompanying slide deck that is a great remind on slide #7 on what settings it is best to leave as is and why. You may want to reference the recording and resources to get grounded in some definitions and skills prior to attending this session. This session is going to focus more on items that will not break linkages to content for updates and when building assessments from scratch how you can use some of those features.
