Educators gathered in December to explore Wisconsin’s leadership in AI-powered education during the SLATE 2025 Pre-Conference. The event combined real-world success stories with hands-on learning to help participants bring purposeful, practical AI strategies back to their schools.

Attendees learned from guest speaker Jason Neiffer, Executive Director of the Montana Digital Academy, and were welcomed by hosts Melissa Schiek and Linda Schuerman from the Wisconsin Digital Learning Collaborative. Facilitated sessions were led by CESA leaders and practitioners from across the state, creating a collaborative, high-impact learning environment.
