Supplemental Pathway
WHO IT’S FOR
Districts that want to offer online courses to learners, but may not have the infrastructure or experience to accomplish that goal alone
The Supplemental Pathway offers nearly unlimited access to online courses and support through Wisconsin Virtual School (WVS) without the need to build online learning capacity locally. As the primary provider of supplemental online courses in Wisconsin, WVS makes state-supported online learning opportunities available to over half of Wisconsin’s school districts. In addition, WVS supports schools and programs that want to utilize their own teachers in the infrastructure in the early stages of implementation. A pay-as-you-go option to add online courses to existing K-12 curriculum with no annual fees, contracts, or memberships affords a straightforward way to add quality online courses to a district’s existing curriculum.
