Accessibility: What Does It Mean for Online Learning

How do we ensure that our courses are accessible in multiple different means to our students; looking beyond just "colors" and alt text to review our courses for accessibility for diverse learners? Principles from Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Quality Matters (QM) will be incorporated.

Connection to National Standards for Quality Online Teaching: A9; B2; F1, F2, F4, F6; H1, H3

The first half hour will be guided conversation on the topic with the second half (optional) designated for further conversation, implementation of concepts, skills, and knowledge, deeper dive into support resources, support for hands on application, and content alike work time in break out groups.
